Singapore, 18 June 2024 – In conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of World Blood Donor Day on 14 June 2024, Park Avenue Hospitality, a member of United Engineers Limited Group, once again worked closely with the Singapore Red Cross and organised its annual voluntary blood donation drive across various businesses within the Group as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
This year, more than 10 eligible donors have stepped forward to participate in this meaningful campaign. The donated blood will be used to save lives in time of emergencies and to sustain the lives of those with medical conditions, like leukaemia, thalassaemia and bleeding disorders, as well as patients who are undergoing major surgeries.
