Singapore, 9 Sept 2024 – Park Avenue Hospitality, a member of United Engineers Limited Group, is committed to making a positive impact to society and care for welfare of the community. To celebrate early Children’s Day, 14 employees across various businesses in the Group joined hands with Canossaville Children and Community Service for our annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) River Wonders initiative on 5 September 2024.
This initiative aims to provide children whose families are in need an opportunity to experience local attractions and foster relationships between their friends and teachers. Exposure to new experience and access to learning and enjoyment in a different environment can help them to improve their knowledge. This aligns with the hotel’s vision “Embracing hospitality excellence, where every guest is valued”, just like every child is valued as well.
Participants embarked on an engaging journey along the River Trail of River Wonders. The group explored a diverse array of fish and wildlife, including a visit to the iconic panda pair, Kai Kai and Jia Jia. The adventure continued with an inspiring animal presentation "Once Upon A River," where captivating stories about various creatures were shared.
In addition to the River Wonders event, this CSR initiative also facilitated inter-divisional collaboration and enriched the knowledge for both volunteers and the children. A series of Questions and Answers sessions were organized to encourage communication and teamwork among participants.
