Excellent Service Award (EXSA) 2016

The EXSA 2016 (Hospitality Sector) - Star Award Presentation Ceremony concluded yesterday afternoon at the University Cultural Centre.

The annual event was graced by Mr Patrick Tay, MP for West Coast GRC Chairman, GPC for Manpower. Excellent Service Award or EXSA is a national award that recognises individuals who have delivered quality service. It seeks to develop service models for staff to emulate and to create service champions. The award is conferred at three levels – Silver Award, Gold Award and Star Award.

This year, the Park Avenue family is very proud to receive 20 EXSA Award winners, of which, 3 of our outstanding colleagues were recipients of EXSA Star Award, namely,

Star Award winners were recognised at the presentation ceremony for their efforts in delivering excellent service and going the extra mile for service. Each of them had received at least 5 compliments during the qualifying period and received at least 2 service-related awards in the last 3 years. The compliments may be from both internal and external customers.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Outstanding Star Award. Amidst the strong competition from the Star Award winners, we are very proud that Ms Lynn Tay from Park Avenue Rochester had won the hearts of the judges and is one of the recipients for the Outstanding Star Award. Her impeccable service in Park Avenue has gone far beyond expectations, setting us apart in the industry with our team of dedicated staff.
