In 2026, Earth Hour marks its 20th global anniversary. This year’s China theme is both gentle and powerful: “Switch off the lights, ignite hope—each contributing their strengths to give one hour to the Earth.”
ParcVue responded with a unique, city-by-city relay across its properties. In Chengdu and Shanghai, candlelit mindfulness yoga sessions invited guests to reconnect with their breath—becoming the brightest “stars” of the evening. Meanwhile, Nanjing and Tianjin dimmed all decorative lighting in unison, allowing the night sky to return to its natural brilliance. For that one hour, as lights paused, the stars shone brighter.
